I've seen on other forums where people believe Madara did give Nagato the Rinnegan. Just look at the thread at Narutobase about this that I created: http://www.narutobase.net/forums/showthread.php?t=272003

But is it that hard to think that could be a lie and that Nagato was born with it by somewhat of a supernatural means?

I am not denying the theory that both blood types might be needed but until Kishi shows us in a "Madara Gaiden" set of chapters, I feel that Obito/Zetsu are wrong with that.

Madara didn't read all of the tablet before he had the Rinnegan.

Are there other people out there that think Madara is lying? I am really strictly looking for those people because I have seen enough people that rationalize that Madara did give it to him?

Until it's shown to happen, I think accepting what a character says to be like it's a proven fact is premature. \

I'm very unsure of it to be honest.

If you read the Manga, you will know the answer to that. Like many things, it clears things up, but leaves us asking questions.
