well, i just ordered this. i just hope i get something decent . to those who have received previous boxes,what are the chances of receiving a set box of season 1 or 2 of a good anime series??

People are getting DvD's that I actually want!

I ordered a box from round 1 and one from today (round 3).

Wished they'd get here already!

You click on the daily deals and buy it.

I can't say that I've seen anyone get a box set. There have been movies, OVAs, and volumes (incomplete) of various series reported so far. But no box sets, unless I'm very much mistaken.

crunchy gets all their stuff from rightstuf as far as i know. i have ordered a few things from them. in those they usually offer you a mystery item .
those same mystery items are just thing they could no longer sell. at retail price. for whatever reason so they lowered the prize and when no one bought it at that point. they pretty much put that merchandise on clearance... but since they never sold for a reason they mix them up and sell them as mystery items... so that mystery box will probably be full of mixed volumes from unknown or unpopular animes and maybe movies. from right stuf

Looks like I just wasted $22 on a box of crap anime.

Seeing how bad the round one DVDs are, I would have been thrilled with Hanna Barbera DVDs.

Overall, at least the movie in the mystery box makes them kinda worth it. People getting Appleseed lucked out in a sense. Not sure how many copies of that they got going though.

At such a low price, you shouldn't expect the all anime series in the mystery boxes to be masterpieces. There are a few decent ones, though, and even if you hate all of them you can sell 'em and make some money.

Rightstuff couldn't sell these so good luck getting off on them. Anyone who was missing these volumes could have purchased any of them on TRSI for like $5 or less for the past few years. They didn't though.

Well, since now I wondered what people got in the mystery boxes, I wouldn't think it might be worth it, since its mostly mixed series like those on the list, and people would have expected the series on the ones pictured (but not really), but hey, at least you get what you pay for, if the price might be a bit higher, they might have included popular series or something...
