PS3 Super Slim
|
From what I've read, the new super slim consumes a little less power than the PS3 Slim ( Slim uses half the consumption power compared to the original fatty). Lost my 80gig fatty a month ago and replaced it with the 500 gig super slim console. But hey, with the new super slim, at least you'll be able to get your disk out when it YLODs.

Anyone had any troubles with their "superslim" PS3 yet?
I don't even play disc based games—PS Store digital versions all the way for me. Plus, I appreciate it when things are neat & quiet, so the superslim could be the perfect PS3 for me. But I still went with the regular slim model (in white), because I got a better deal on it... :o However I may sell my slim PS3 at some point, so how flimsy are the new superslim PS3s exactly? Experiences, anyone? Thanks! |

That's good to know, i have a 60gb model and im looking for an upgrade. Mainly because the fans kick up to high gear within 10 minutes of startup and that's just standby, gets pretty loud when playing any game but the console itself is cold to the touch which is abit odd. |
