muvluv alternative: total eclipse. started amazing.. then I watched for 20 episodes waiting for it to be good again, while there were intermittent spots of piqued interest. finally just decided to stop watching it.

It does seem counterintuitive to continue to watch an anime that you don't/didn't like, however....

Boys Over Flowers, the worst piece of vapid drivel to be animated.. I hated it after the first episode but continued to watch till the last episode. I kept thinking/hoping it was going to get better, that at least ONE character would have just a bit of honor....or at least show some decency, didn't happen.

Suzuka..horrible bit of drama, the lead character was never sympathetic. I hated her from the first and continued to hate her more and more as the story progressed. And the end..where all is revealed to explain Suzuka's horrible behavior towards Yamato, (I was waiting for this... to be earth shattering, it wasn't) really? UGH!

Orphen..It was good, then it was bad, but got good again and then there was the 2nd season, which was just bad, bad, bad, but I thought it might be like the first season and get good, didn't happen.

Weiss Kreuz Gluhen..I loved Weiss Kreuz, but with Gluhen, so much had drastically changed..I was in shock and just continued to watch it but it was really substandard when compared to Weiss Kreuz. Again, I think some of us continue to watch because we hope it will get better, rarely does.

Horizon in the the Middle of Nowhere. Maybe it's just me and it's not as convoluted as I think but I just didn't understand a thing and the characters were all so flat. Not to mention there were so many where I could only remember like 10 of them max. I only finished it hoping everything gets tied together but I was so lost at that point so....no use.

"It was Bleach for me, it sucks big time. When ever a stronger opponent rocks up Ichigo goes and trains then wins and then it happens all over again".. Now after a number of seasons and defeated bosses it turns out that he is in fact a "Hollow, shinigami, Quincy human with some shit called (Full Bring ) seriously how fucken LAME.... No wonder the Anime has Stopped and the Manga has now stopped too!! But back to your question, it's not that I like this show it's just I've followed it for so long hopping it will get better since I love Sword Play anime I have to know what's gonna happen next...

H2O: Footprints in the sand. Probably the most boring anime I have ever watched. The characters acted retarded

School Days - I wanted to see a girl in the anime that would say no, but there wasn't one. I swear I didn't want to finish it and I think I was more frustrated with the girls than with Ito. They just would not say no and it snowballed after that.

muvluv alternative - The first two episodes were gory and gave me a first impression what it was about. Boy was I wrong! It turned into a harem building anime quickly and it didn't get back to what I thought the premise of the anime was about until the last few episodes. I should have looked up MuvLuv before watching this. Saw the whole thing, but if there's a second season I won't watch episode 1.

Demon King Daimao - Watched the whole thing (for some reason) Sexual innuendo throughout and dozens of characters and many angles to take them and in 12 episodes went almost nowhere after the first few minutes of episode 1. It was completely rushed and with sooo many characters none of them were fully developed and they introduced more characters in the final episodes for seemingly no reason.

Kill Me Baby - I thought it might be funny. It wasn't

Sasameki Koto - It was an uncomfortable watch for me.

School Days. Just to see why it made such a fuss.

Haruhi Suzumiya (endless eight...). Just because it's a huge iconic franchise so I felt obligated to watch it as someone who likes anime. Interestingly enough the movie is actually great. The concept and series itself is stupid. Mikuru for most god awful attempt at a moe cast member. It's like the VA wanted the character to be hated.

Blood-C. This series becomes so stupid and one-note despite its amazing character concept, and the ending is probably the dumbest twist type thing you have ever tried to comprehend. Senseless over-bearing gore galore. Interestingly enough again, the movie is actually awesome although plot is certainly not its forte.

Kimi ni Todoke. Good god...yes it's cute sometimes. Yes Sayako does some cute stuff occasionally but this anime is downright torturous to watch. A grueling 2 seasons of 24 episodes each of a girl and guy dealing with the same essential problem in every single episode and never learning.

Aside from those mishaps...I think for the most part I know when to quit an anime.

Most recently, Attack on Titan. It's awful, but since I've already come this far, why not finish it?

In the past, Final Fantasy Unlimited, because I blindly bought the DVD box set without knowing how bad it was, and Vividred Operation, because I was kinda hoping it would get better (because I loved Strike Witches and Skygirls).

While I didn't like Haruhi Suzumiya as much as most people, you completely missed the point of Mikurus character; it is a juxtaposition to Haruhis character. Mikuru is the generic moe timid girl, while Haruhi is a unique larger than life and complete opposite to her. It is a completely unique take on the generic female depiction in anime thats why people like it.

it's just... bad. the story is bad and hard to follow, the animation is bad, the characters are all pretty bad, even in the visual novel the anime is based on they're not very good characters... though the vn is *alright* if you're into that stuff i guess?

and the anime cuts out nearly all of the BL action, so there's not even that to make it worth it. and most of what's left in is really creepy.

for positive points: the original art style is kind of nice and so are some of the character designs? the opening is pretty damn good imo, and the ending songs are alright... that's about all this series has going for it.

but yeah, don't watch it. it's not worth the time.

And this changes the fact she's annoying...how?
