For me it was Aku no Hana(Flowers of evil) i dropped it after episode 3 only to come back 2 days later and finish the series. But you know what they say "Curiosity killed the cat."

The ONLY anime I've ever continued to watch that I couldn't stand was Haibane Renmei. Haibane predated the influx of free streaming anime sites, so there was nothing else to watch. I had the Netflix 7-8 disc plan and got the entire series in one mailing on a Friday. I watched the entire snorefest that weekend because I had no other alternative to my anime fix. Boring from start to finish.

Thank GOD for the internet. You never have to be trapped with snooze fests again.

Day Break Illusion. I kept watching it for some reason. After this, I told myself never to suffer through another show I disliked again. Gatchaman Crowds was like that sort of too. It was a huge back and forth to dislike and "meh" throughout the summer. I think it was the ost that kept me watching it lol

Little Busters...

Really couldn't relate to a protagonist who has absolutely no flaws whatsoever.

In the end I only finished it because Kud is the most adorable thing ever

WAFUU~!

...

And a little bit of Kyousuke's badass-ery...

I tend to binge watch so once I've seen a number in a row I'm guaranteed to stick with it. I wasn't too big of a fan of Shuffle, Elfen Lied, or Devil May Cry so I had to power through them.

Just finished /Fantasista-Doll

It seems very off.
Much of the anime had introduced plot points suddenly (sometimes several times within an episode). Yet, nothing seemed properly developed before the next plot point was introduced.

The show had me so jumbled that if the main.. umm antagonist(?) were to say "you know what? nevermind. " *end credits* as part of the last episode, it would have been par for the course. It had an interesting premise, philosophy, and execution, but failed to properly deliver anything before presenting a (sometimes unusual, and usually rushed) conclusion. Several points came up during the show, had no development within then, and were then concluded in an astonishingly neat and efficient way. A lot of interesting premises to the plot were presented as well, and then immediately put into limbo despite seeming rather significant. (The actual fights could have really used some strategy development as well..)

The show seemed rushed. It had a strangely solid story but no proper development.. The final conflict in the show occurs when three sudden plot twists happen during the 2nd to last episode.. and then everything is wrapped up cleanly and efficiently with no conflicts or troubles (thanks to a character that was suddenly introduced one episode prior.)

Looking up more about the series, I'm not surprised..:

Between April 2013 and October 2013 (7 months)
Fantasista Doll had.. a 1 volume manga, a 14 chapter web novel (it was supposed to be 20), a 1 volume manga from another character's perspective..., another manga (based on the show.. and ongoing), a 12 episode anime, a smartphone game, and 2 novels of some sort.

^ Somebody really was desperate for it to be a hit o.o ^

Maybe Selector Infected WIXOSS will fill the empty void that this show has left me with

Upotte
Ebiten
Destiny of the Shrine Maiden
The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat
Sunday Without God
Fantasista Doll (as the above reminded me)
Blood+

And I think that is literally everything (since I log every show I complete and remember what I found laborious).

All these shows aren't necessarily bad - they're just shows that I found tedious to watch and only finished because they were standards or I got too far into the show to turn back. I think I probably thought they were going to be something other than what they actually were. I think I continued all of them hoping that something would change, but was continually disappointed.

I guess mine is Angle Beats. I never really enjoy it. The only thing that kept me going was how many people loved it or considered it a masterpiece. I was hoping to get the same or similar experience.
