Hate: Long conversations that go between the fight scenes. Worse, fights that suddenly go into flashbacks.

Hate: The power of love and friendship speech was great when I was little but not it gets annoying especially when they openly say it "We did it because of the power of....Blah Blah Blah". Also hate when a character changes drastically changes from Bad to good and vice versa with out a slow transition to or from it.
Like:Everything else

But everything can be useful if the writers make it flow smoothly . Coming back stronger from death can be favorable if they make it work. FlashBacks can be either be used to explain what happened to a character who was gone for about a half a season especially if it was a main character. It all depends on how they use it.

I Hate: When in harem the main character(male) are not showing affection to the girls.
I Love: Harem and Romance anime. Action is awesome too.
