I guess... Kirito. Kinda typical, I know. But he's just so awesome! I think I like the episode where he and Asuna finally get together the best. And on a side note, his sister totally creeps me out. >_<

Granted, they're not brother and sister, but first cousins, and it's single-target sexuality, at least as far as Suguha's concerned. In Japan, it'd be legal for them to marry, if he thought of her that way. Then again, marriage between first cousins is legal in about half of the states in the US.

There are a lot of characters I like, though my favorite character is Agil, odd as that may sound. He comes off as a bit of an opportunistic bastard at first, but then you find out what he's doing with his profits. He's a good supporting character, and he has that "true friend" vibe to him.

The characters ARE very cliche but I still enjoy the show.

I'd say my favorite is Klein because I kind of relate to his personality.

If he got more screen time I would like Klein best. I'm sort of like him; a bit of a goof ball who is decent at leading a small guild of friends. Not the best fighter, but good enough to be in the clearing group.

But as it is it would be Kirito and/or Asuna. They're just so badass.

My favorite episode is 14. I found the action pretty epic and the end was moving.

SAO not have anyone interesting,the best is but Klein did an injustice to him, in fact, taking the couple no other character has been well explored, all were thrown to a corner, nobody had his moment in the spotlight, the biggest flaw of SAO.

SAO is not all that talk, is an anime with many flaws, serious flaws, lack of personality of the characters was too big, but of course undoubtedly is the Klein, just miss opportunity from klein and talent of the author

He has done the hands down best job of making me hate someone with every ounce of my body, at the same time not going overboard with graphic content, which is unnecessary and makes me feel less intelligent then when I started watching.

Sugou/Oberon was exactly the reason I bring this up, as they went completely overkill with the rape in Fairy Dance. I guess they were sparing the people who make hentai the trouble by just putting it in the show.

Kayaba Akihiko was the most ludicrous antagonist I've ever seen. Yeah, he only killed several thousand people, killed your "wife" right in front of you (or so he thought at the time), and wasted 2 years of 10,000 people's lives. That wasn't a declaration of evil intentions or anything. At the end of Aincrad, I liked when he came and talked about how he lost track of why he wanted to do it, but that doesn't change the fact that he did it, but it completed his development there. Everything else afterwards, especially him saving Kirito in Alfheim, was completely turning him into a wuss.

Asuna but too bad she didn't really have a big role in the ALO arc.
