It wouldn't be such a phenomna would it, I mean some people might come and ask that question and join because their friends recommended it or they saw how popular it was and wanted to join and see what's up and learn from us *the people who have seen it and liked it*. It is not easy to find the eps everywhere now because it is licensed so I wouldn't blame people who haven't see it all.

Um I would tell them to check Wikipedia, they do a great job of explaining it.

On a short note I would say it is a cute and funny anime with beautiful artwork and is an reverse harem (one girl, a lot of pretty guys) and has potential romance but don't expect any full fledge interaction like kissing of the "L" word getting thrown around, it's mainly just hints the entire way through *sigh*. At least in the anime for the most part. It reminds me of a kinder & funnier "Boys over Flowers" (Hana Yori Dango) a little, and there is definitely a Cinderella theme to it.

If anyone can find links to some Ouran Host eps. it would help newbies I think or they could just go to Onemanga and read the manga (it's pretty close to the anime only more detailed) or buy the manga, which has also progress beyond the anime in volume 10. The manga leaves out the anime ending at least for the time being and continues and develops further in the manga.

So I would give it a 9/10 (-1 because of the lack of actual romance *kisses & I love you" * stuff (I like my romance to have a little. . . you know . . . actual romance, lol ) but definetly a top show to watch if your looking for light romance/comedy, bishouens, and a fun entertaining anime

Here's the plot:
Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.

Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students (Takashi "Mori", Mitsukuni "Hunny", Kaoru and Hikaru, Tamaki, and Kyoya) who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000, estimated to be $80,000.

In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up. The Club president, without knowing she is really a girl, promotes Haruhi to "host" as soon as he discovers her potential. Even after the truth comes out in the Club, Haruhi continues the charade and is allowed to pay off the rest of her debt working as a host; provided she conceals her true identity/gender from the customers.

(for more info, just do a google search [duh!])

Wow, there's actually people who haven't watched OHSHC. That's just sad. I'd definately hunt them down and tie them in front of their computer and force them to watch it. OR I might just tell them about how great it is and persuade them to try it out.

i'll help you!
