I was about 8-9 years old when i figured it was mom that almost always was dressing up as santa in the bathroom lol xD
The next year I ruined it for my cousin, because my grandad wanted me to dress up as santa for my cousin, and well, what happened was that, I went in with the costume and said "Ho Ho Ho" I'm santa, and then I asked my grandad what to do next xDD I was embarrassed, and ran away into another room lol -__-

I think my brain finally contemplated no way would a fat guy get down our chimney at the age of about 12-13? Christmas has never been the same since...

Never. In Colombia we don't believe in him. He's just a commercial figure.

I was actually 11 believe it or not, and I sometimes wish I still did. The magic's just not as profound otherwise.
Kids nowadays grow up way too fast.

We open them up on Christmas Eve over dinner (it's a nice Swedish tradition my family's passed down), so there's none of the "wake up in the morning to find all those presents magically appearing under the tree on Christmas Day" stuff you see everywhere. Of course, that didn't stop the "find out what's in each box before the big day begins" shenanigans (one memorable incident involved me listening in on a phone conversation between my mom and my grandma using another handset plugged into a phone jack in my room (supposed to be for our 56k dial-up modem, but no one was on the computer in my room at the time). I must have been breathing too hard, since not too long afterward they began talking about nonsensical things as if they knew someone was listening).

Formally? Probably 9 or 10. I won't say that I never believed in him, but I can't remember ever thinking he was real -- maybe when I was too young to remember anything. I did, however, think that if I told my parents, I wouldn't get "santa's portion" of my presents, so I sort of kept it to myself for a long time to ensure maximum gift reception. Somehow I didn't realize that my parents don't have more money if I believe in Santa.
