I don't know about anyone else but I am excited about this and I feel like fellow anime fans might also be. Golgoth Studios bought the rights to the Magic Drop series and made a new version of Magical Drop V which releases today Can't wait to try it :D

I used to love multiplayer battles in falling-block games; Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine and Dr. Mario come to mind.

Anyway, I'll probably pass. It looks pretty well made though; maybe not million-dollar-budget quality, but at least better than 1990 console standards.

Pretty interesting. I remember this fun puzzle game from the arcades.

Hmm... Only thing that gets me... Suggested graphics card, GeForce 8800GT? Hmh... I guess my graphics card is getting behind the times. The game probably wouldn't work too well on my computer.

I saw this on steam, the way the developers act towards the community make me want to buy it just to support them. That said I've never been much of a puzzle game person but I used to spend hours playing Kirby's Avalanche on the SNES, is it similar?

I wouldn't quite say that it is similar to Kirby's Avalanche. I'd say it is in the same league though. The gameplay is a bit different, but it still delivers the fun and addicting gameplay that you would also find in Kirby's Avalanche, Puyopuyo, Dr. Robotnik's MBM, etc... There is a demo for Magical Drop V available on Steam now, how about you give it a try?

Although my graphics card is a step behind the suggested 8800gt, I'm going to see how the demo works.

Edit: The demo doesn't offer much, but it's still the same Magical Drop fun from the past. It should be enough to show you what the game is like. Now I only wonder why it runs so smoothly on my PC? Are the system requirements listed on Steam incorrect? Argh... I've gotta research this. I'd really like to get the game.
