I think it's quite normal to have feelings of envy towards others. Even those of the opposite sex. It really doesn't matter, but I think some of the guilt you're feeling might come from the gender roles that have been hammered into your head. There is no shame unless you go overboard.

Lmao xD I don't think it's sad or anything.. Hair is hair, and especially on the head, there shouldn't be a difference between a girls hair and a boys, its the same thing if you just let it do its thing-.- But I guess its more natural for a boy to have it abit short instead of long (even though this isn't that true, but it's sorta a stereotype) But in reality its the same.

Yes.

Women can style their hair any way they want...

Men are stuck with the same styles.

Its actually a mystery to me, really.
No matter what shampoo I use with my hair, it always turns out dry, flat, wavy in the wrong places, etc.,

Whenever I feel a guy's hair, its always soft and luscious. Like, wtf? Am I missing something? Is there a conspiracy here? Why is this dude's hair more healthy-looking than mine? What am I doing wrong? Just thinking about it angers me.

Maybe it's the testosterone.... Unfortunately, if you supplemented with some, you'd get hair in unwanted places too...as well as turn into a guy...LOL

...or maybe it's because of all the abuse/crap us females do to our hair. I wish I had thick hair (it's very fine and wavy), but I know I inherited that from my mom's side....my little sister got the thick hair (and really curly) genes, my older sister got average thickness but flat/lifeless hair.

lol you girls get the ultimate revenge though since baldness in later years is far more prevalent in men. I personally would rather have any kind of hair than none at all.

My grandfather was bald for as long as I knew him and my younger half brother is bald too, thank God so far I still have a thick head of long hair. I think for a guy anyway life is much easier with short hair so we tend not to think about it when our hair is short and easy to manage. However I've mostly had long hair since I was a teenager and many times I've been jealous of someone elses hair both male and female.

Mine is naturaly thick and a little curly so when I get up I look like I've been attacked by a toaster and windy days are a nightmare. So I think it's just the same for guys or at least me anyhow just with an increased risk of going bald

A couple of my co-workers told me recently they were jealous of my 'Old Hair' (used to have it ass-length). Really wasn't sure how to take it tbh. I didn't grow it deliberately...it was just easier and cheaper than getting it cut.
I don't see it as weird...but it's certainly odd being told that the girl with the gorgeous bod and killer eyes is jealous of my hair?! (girls aren't normally interested in a great deal about me :P).

Lol that's true. I don't wanna get soft luscious hair, and then find out later I'm growing some weird stuff on my body later. xD And its sad, but I haven't been abusing my hair lately, and its still pretty damn dry. :'c or maybe i am abusing it, but I don't know exactly what I'm doing wrong, haha

I'm probably paying for coloring my hair (not all at once) blonde, black, red, blue, and purple.....lol It's not colored/dyed anymore though....

Guys are lucky they don't have to worry about body hair. They can go all natural

I want guy hair so bad -_-
I've considered getting guy bangs
but keep a girls length
so many people are against it.
it's not like if i have short hair,
i automatically become a dyke
