Make Australia the capital of the world, and declare myself Lord Queen of all Mankind. Then, I'll headline a massive initiative to finally build giant robots the way they're supposed to be made. Stabilize infrastructure, fix the imbalance of wealth, and outlaw MTV.

Many dictators weren't evil though... every monarch through history and emperors of old were also dictators afterall ;)
And actually seeing as evil is only in the eye of the beholder I would argue no one in this world is evil... Though I would say a lot of them in my view got there morals way off :P

That being said... I would properly start out by wiping my competition... While buying the generel peoples hearts, how exactly depends on the political climate / economy etc.
If possible I'd try to become a rightous hero in the eyes of the common people and thus make them rise up for me and slowly expand...

All while in the background I'd clear the world of the things that I feel are in the way for a better futere for humankind as a whole... For the greater good og humanity - would probs end up very hated ^^

But it will stay in my dreams, ain't got what it takes to pull this off in our world ^^

Uh... I'am not sure if this would be good... I tend to act straight. Projected to some aspects of live this might have some minor side-effects some nitpicking wowsers would deem outright cruel

I have to take an idea from a Confucian Chinese dowager empress. She put a level cap on the rich, the excess money would go to help the peasantry and agrarian populace to provide the means to live better, though I am not sure how well this would be implemented in today's society. I would keep the taxation system in place, but I would make sure it isn't costing people shelter and lives at the same time, even if it meant putting people who couldn't afford it in not-violent government jobs, unless they wanted to be part of the military. I would also hire many scholars and strategists that I felt were not only masters, but had virtue. I'd try my best to set up good relations with other countries, especially through embassies. High-end government jobs would consist of linguists, historians, in the fields of science and technology.

But, I think I have already failed in this to be a dictator. And another issue would also be who would take control after me as the supreme ruler, and with all that power would they hold the same ideals.

I'd mention capitalism, but that's the obvious thing. As disgusting as overly rich people are, by making more money they move the economy. Now I ask you, would you rather drink from a still pond or a river?

Politics is no secret. Go to a webpage that lists a bunch of crimes and hand out sentences you think are worthy.

The economy is important, and you are correct. But I think it's more important to make sure everyone has shelter and food in my opinion. And making sure the agrarian's and peasants have the means they need to support the people. Especially if war broke out, they would be supplying the armies, and they would be funded. Crime and punishments are a whole other deal that I don't want to go into on this post. I'd be writing an essay at that point, haha.

Misery has to exist if you want a pleasant existence. Live with it.

Lol. I agree that misery is present and it will always be there. But, in my personal opinion you can't disregard your own values, especially when it comes to life and death. But maybe that's the exact reason I wouldn't be cut out for ruling. Anyways, I thought it would just be fun to post my idea. Agree to disagree.

You get it after all. My value. I doubt you'll reach my level of thinking, but you can touch it huh.

Your "level" of thinking is not something I'd like to reach. I fully understand it, I just disagree with it. For it is present in capitalism in my own country. Hence I said agree to disagree. Anyways, I am not looking to debate opinions which really can't actually be proven. It would just be a waste of our time.
