I remember watching Eureka Seven on Adult Swim. I thought it was okay, not good or bad. No way I'd be able to watch 50 episodes in 10 days. Oh well..

I take it this has something to do with Bandai going under. Real bummer, I was actually a fan of having a dub/sub up here....

Wait why isn't Code Geass getting taken off then....

Both Sacred Seven and Eureka Seven are on Hulu. On Hulu, Sacred Seven expires next year on January 1st, and Eureka Seven expires in less than 2 years from January 1, 2014. I watched on Crunchyroll already so I'm happy.

Edit: Added expiration date for Sacred Seven and Eureka Seven on Hulu.

Did someone license these two or something?

They've both been under license by Bandai in the US. And Bandai is ceasing its anime distribution.

AO is licensed by Funimation, so that will most likely be unaffected.

sacred seven had alot of potential that went down in the drain, but didn't mean they went down without a bang.

eureka seven will always be a favorite. but as time passes, its loosing its magic on me. its original and exciting in that sense, but somehow its kinda forgettable. but yet, i don't want to forget it.

It's going to have to be one heck of a marathon to watch 50 episodes of Eureka Seven in about nine days! Anyone who wishes to do so should start early!

I marathoned ALL of GaoGaiGar (including Final) in 2 all nighters spanned between 3 days... it's not that hard to do.

Sacred Seven was an amazing anime that suffered only because it was a place-warmer for Gundam AGE which was a miserable flop (with the exception of Asem's arc which was magnificent). I feel it deserves being watched by anyone who can.

As for it's removal, I'm going to guess someone probably finally got their hands on the license for it... a certain someone who was probably working on getting Eureka Seven's license to go alongside AO *cough* Funimation *cough* did I say something?
