I don't see any way possible to watch all 50 episodes in 9 days...that's probably not gonna happen. I guess I can try hard to go for it. The notices seem to be giving us less lead time lately. We used to get at least 30 days, but with this one we are down to a bit over 9 days and the previous one was around 2 weeks. |

I don't particularly mind 9 days or 2 weeks if the show is only 12 episodes. But Eureka 7 is just too big to watch in 9 days. Now that you've said it, The notices do seem to be getting shorter every announcement. Is there some sort of calendar which tells us when their licenses expire or does it just come on the drop of a dime? But It would have been nice to know a month or so in advance when a 50+ episode anime license is expiring. |

But It would have been nice to know a month or so in advance when a 50+ episode anime license is expiring. AFAIK, Hulu is one of the few services that lists expiration dates for their shows (and I believe those only appear if you put the show in your queue). While many CR contracts no doubt have a date upon which the contract either has to be renewed or expires, I expect there are others that are essentially "at will", in which case CR itself would only have as much notice as the contract itself allows for. It would be nice for those contracts that have an expiration or renewal date if CR could make that information available, even if it were only provided in a 'you have to go looking for it' type format like Hulu. In the source code for the RSS feed, there are the "<crunchyroll:premiumEndPubDate>" and "<crunchyroll:freeEndPubDate>" tags, but I don't know if those contain any useful data until CR announces that a series is being pulled. It would require finding a show that hasn't been announced as being pulled that lists a near term date to confirm that. (As an example, Code Geass lists "Mon, 30 Nov 9998 08:00:00 GMT" in both those tags, which effectively is the same as "no expiration date", but that may only mean "expiration date not set".). |

Yeah, I think it'd be nice if they created a "watch-out" list or something along those lines. If they have a show which has an upcoming expiration date, regardless if they plan to renew it or not, it should be put onto a "warning" or "watch for" list. I think it would make things a little more clearer for the viewers/subscribers. I know that if I knew that Eureka 7 had a chance of expiring a month ago, I would have started watching it just in case it does expire (and they don't renew). Overall, more access to this kind of information would be nice to have. I'm not enraged by it or anything, but the more information the better. |

So I'm guessing it would be fair to assume that the chance of Code Geass R2 ever showing up here on Crunchyroll just got postponed indefinitely?
I would have been pleasantly surprised If Bandai had been able to pull a miracle off and unload their assets on to CR. Haven't really been following the news on the matter... I will miss having Eureka Seven available. |

maybe i should update my profile... nah, too lazy

Neither are available here anyway.

I hope Gundam Wing won't be taken away I'm not done yet. Besides CR said it would be on here indefinetly. =/
As for Code Geass I'm saving up for that and I'm also saving up for Gundam 00 cause I know these will expire too since they are both from Bandai USA. |
