I'd be perfectly happy with either one of those combinations, or any of the three individually. But, if they do develop something like the Nerve Gear/AmuSphere within my lifetime, you can be damn sure I'm going to grab it.

Pay the hackers to join them instead of breaking down the security? What's better.. A security made by some smart ass guys that educated from some programming school, or just pay the greatest hackers to join and become the superior security Then again, never say that a security is perfect, that alone makes every hacker wanna break it -.- But I see the threat of brain washing, but there's always the chance to confuse the hackers.. Hacking into a game doesn't get you into the profile information just like that, you could just hide these important files, so that they cannot be located so easily. Decryption and encryption is the best ;D

	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/19/13 Yeah keep dreaming kids, it won't ever happen, well in our lifetime anyway. i wouldn't mind getting stuck in there though, I don't like my life so I think dying in a video game would be pretty badass.

The problem with the SAO version is basically the severe lack of safety features. The ability to directly change your brain to alter existing memories for example, or to barbecue your brain with microwaves. Those kinds of features should be rendered impossible with the appropriate design choices. Also I don't want my brain/consciousness being transferred into a game, I just want it to feel like that. Otherwise someone could yank the cord and you'd die, and hacking your brain would be far easier with that method too since your mind would be on the server effectively.
