Fairy Tail is a pretty consistent long-running anime. I don't have a problem with the arc lengths. Sometimes they need to be long to actually convey what the mangaka intended.

I don't like that a fight scene can go for a whole episode length or two.

I just watch Fairy Tail because I like the environmental drawings and the concept of magic/guild.
