I Would Have To Say Code Geass, Death Note, Rurouni Kenshin, Hellsing, Blood+, Gundam 00, Yu Yu Hakusko Ghost Files, And Devil May Cry.
These Animes All Made Me Want To Watch More Anime Due To Its Complex Story Structure ex) Death Note, And Code Geass Both Had Some Complex Storys SPOILER!?!?!?!!? ( Like For Example Light Death Where He Became A Shinigami, Or Lelouch Death Where He Supposedly Died )
These Animes Caused Me To Want To Watch More Anime And Im Glad To Be A Fan Of Anime Still.
Plz Offer Me Animes That You Find To Be Interesting To Your Opinion That I Might Like. :)
*Edit Also Its Intense Scenes. Cant Forget Those Awesome Fighting/ Dramatic Parts.*

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Lucky Star inspired me to continuously watch anime. I don't really know why, but they are really good anime

I watched an anime that my friend recommended to me called Beelzebub that made me so entertained. I gotta go back and finish the rest of Beelzebub though

My friends convinced me to watch anime again because I enjoyed Death Note...after watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and Code Geass I became permanently hooked.

I was flipping through the channels when I was a kid and stumbled upon Sailor Moon during a transformation sequence. I was entranced by flashy scenes and music and was hooked on anime since. ^^;;

The amount of anime series I go through has gone up exponentially in the last couple of years since I first watched Clannad. I don't quite know why, maybe I've been unconsciously wanting to find a title that I find as emotionally satisfying as After Story had been. But whatever the reason I've been an absolute anime junkie since then.

I was on a image site called Funnyjunk a year ago when a person posted a gif of Baka and Test. At the time I didn't know what the show was called so I messaged him and asked him for the title and after figuring out the title I watched the first episode. Since then I've seen the entire series and I just enjoyed anime so much that I just went all over the place looking for great animes to watch.

I used to mainly just catch the anime that was on TV or buy DVDs/VHS, but then sometime around late 2003, early 2004 I stumbled upon a webcast of a little anime called Scrapped Princess. it was the first fansub I watched, and I was hooked after that. I started searching for more fansub groups and the different fansub anime, sparked by this new interest.

I think the first full series anime I ever watched was Saiyuki.Wow-it had such a good story and the characters had depth and the dialogue was well written and hilarious. I loved it! The one that really hooked me though was Bleach. I just couldn't stop watching it-I was turning into an anime zombie! I suddenly realized the emmense effort and talent that went into these productions. That these were not the conventional cartoons I grew up with, they were scripted movies and series set to an art form. I just grew to love them so much that now unless a conventional movie is really outstanding, I prefer anime over real actors.Voice actors are just the best at bringing a character to life. Anime is just so-eccentric and unique-I love it!

For me, anime watching increased like an exponential function after I watched Fruits Basket . it was the first time in my entire life where I had seen an anime series that wasn't "action" oriented (not that Death Note had any "action" but you know what I mean). That was when I first thought "there's more to this genre than meets the eye."

The second series was actually Lucky Star . Why? Because it had so many references to other anime. Through that, I wound up watching Haruhi, Marimite, and Full Metal Panic. After getting recommendations for something similar I found Azumanga Daioh, Ouran, School Rumble, and Clannad. After those, it just went up and up until I'm at where I am today. (Currently i've finished 108 series and have seen parts of many more. Not that that's a lot compared to many other fans out there).

Elfen Lied was the anime that really got me into watching all the anime I did. The ending inspired me to watch more and more. It was packed with romance, drama, action, etc. I watched it on time warner cable so it forced me to wait several days to see what was going to happen next which built my anticipation more and more. When the final episode ended I was sort of depressed that the series was over for good. I got into sad, romance anime so I started searching for the best possible. I've watched some of the best such as clannad, ano hana, true tears, etc. I'm currently watching say I love you and it's been pretty interesting so far.

I hardly knew what anime was when I was little, but I did watch it (Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh! etc.) It wasn't until my sophomore yr in HS when I got hooked on anime by a friend. She let me borrow what was my first graphic novel, Jing: King of Bandits. After reading that, I was hooked on anime and then started watching Toonami. I watched Zatch Bell, IGPX, Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, MAR, Bleach and Inuyasha.

I've always watched Anime when I could get my hands on it, starting with Star Blazers and Battle of the Planets, but before the internet I was limited by what I could beg, borrow or... liberate. I watched Akira in Japanese without subtitles and LOVED IT!

Then I watched Elfen Lied on Netflix one night. I started the series just before I went to bed. I ended up watching the entire series in one sitting, not getting to sleep till 4:30 in the morning.

Since then I've been a serious anime junkie. Hell, I upgraded my phone just so I could watch Neflix, Hulu and Crunchy Roll on it.
