edit: I believe the phrase is "wife husbandry" in that because of her young age he will be able to significantly effect her mental development. That's what I find creepy about this whole thing. She isn't mentally capable of having a romantic relationship with an adult or even someone 2 years older than her.

Lmao Most people will call HIM a pedo, but i have had about 3 grown woman tell me that they cant wait till im legal age when i was a handsome 12 year old boy and a lot others would be obviously attracted to me, but didn't say a word about until I got older...one actually tried something but failed. I am not into women under 21 but i cant hate him because he is at least waiting until she becomes of legal age in his country...things like this happen wayy more than people would like to believe. Well that's just wrong if you ask me. I mean they are at such different stages in development and as the adult he should respect that and not confuse the little girl. It really sounds like grooming to me, otherwise why not just be friends and leave all talks on relationships until they are both adults? Why the pressure to define themselves as a couple when one of them isn't ready for all the responsibilities it involves? The fact of the matter is that he is an adult seeking a romantic relationship with a child when he knows full well that his status as an adult gives him power, rights and responsibility that she as a child will not have, not to mention where she is developmentally compared to him. So yeah, it's wrong on so many levels and it doesn't seem like he has her best interest at heart.

i probably shouldnt answer this but to be honest it doesnt seem wrong, he is atleast waiting until she is 16 and i believe the marrying age in some places was like 12-14 i guess we have to wait and see if it works out

Lol her emotional state at 12 will differ from other people since we all mature at different times...for example I had lots of responsibility as a kid and was man of the house so I matured much faster than my younger brothers...had the maturity of a 18 year old at age 12 soo plzz read up on the young girls life before speaking on her emotional state.

Um, having a lot of responsibilities doesn't change the fact that you're still under aged, neither does it make you immune to the same naivety experienced from your other peers. When I was 12, I was placed into a lot of otherwise adult situations and thus, thought I knew everything. Yet emotionally I was not ready for what life threw at me. I still needed my mother and the help of adults around me. Though my mentality was different than most children my age, I was still a 12 year old girl, who did 12 year old things and had much to learn about the world around her.

So the point is, though a person's mentality may be higher than their chronological age, that does not mean that they'll act any more "mature" or "wiser" than their actual age.

As for this article, I doubt the 12-year-old girl truly knows what she's doing, nor what she wants. Most girls that age don't understand the complexity that comes with both sexual and romantic relationships. You must have the mentally to deal with it and at her current age, I doubt it. Yet the man on the other hand knows exactly what he's doing and that makes it even worst.

Sigh ill never understand some guys. Its like the guys who are my age, that target young girls (15/16 ~) cause usually those girls like mature guys and end up trying to get with (18/19/20s year olds) which makes them easy to get with, so its like being a predator.
