I am thinking about standing up to go get something to eat but my laziness is preventing me from doing that.

Oh not much. Just relaxed, to the max on this lovely, but sweltering Saturday afternoon. Waiting on the Belmont Stakes to be ran Tonight at around 6:15-6:45 pm...The thoroughbred California Chrome has the opportunity to become the first Horse; Thoroughbred, rather...to Win the Triple Crown since the rough riding Affirmed won it last, all the way back in 1978. And the previous before Affirmed was the MIGHTY and World renowned, Secretariat in 1973. Fun fact...Secretariat is buried not even 1000 ft. away from My House! There was literally none other like Him, at least in the World of Thoroughbred racing. He was indeed,

"a TREMENDOUS Machine"
...One of My favorite Sporting quotes of All-Time.

If California Chrome would bring Home a Triple Crown this Evening, it would certainly be THE MOST unprecedented and surprising Triple Crown winner in Thoroughbred racing's History. I remember in 1997, I picked Silver Charm to Win the Kentucky Derby; which if You haven't realized by now, is indeed where I am from. Well He did. He Made it to the Race for the Triple Crown and lost by a NOSE to His arch rival, Touch Gold in the Belmont. The Kentucky Derby is the shortest of the Triple Crown races, followed by the Preakness Stakes which is held in Pimlico, Maryland I believe. The Preakness is a wee bit longer than the KY Derby. So of course the ultimate challenge...and this is Worldwide, is the Belmont Stakes held in Elmont, New York. It's more than DOUBLE the length of the Kentucky Derby, held in Louisville, Kentucky respectively at Churchill Downs.

What makes it SUCH an insurmountable Challenge for a Thoroughbred to attempt to Win a Triple Crown, is that for those in the know, Horses; Thoroughbreds don't race their entire lives. It's only when they are at a certain Age are they considered permissible to be eligible to Race in the Thoroughbred racing, and start Working with a Jockey, Trainer, Owner, et cetera. After they have ran their Show in the 3 possible Races, they are put Out to Pasture to live like Kings for the remainder of their Lives. You see, the Winner that advances from the Kentucky Derby making it into the Preakness, and possibly the Belmont Stakes...They don't continue to Race against the same Competition from the past Races. FRESH Thoroughbreds are brought in. So with the Belmont being the "Grand-Daddy" of them all, for this Thoroughbred to Win that Triple Crown, He HAS to be something special. There is a Week between the Outcome of the KY Derby and the Racing of the Preakness, for the Winner; both Horse and Jockey to prepare Physically and Mentally. They give them 2 Weeks between the Outcome of the Preakness and the Belmont, but EVEN SO...Though that it what a Thoroughbred is MEANT; rather LIVES to do, is Run...those 2 previous Races take it Out of You. You faced New Competition in the Preakness, and now You will in the Belmont, which is RIDICULOUSLY long. And they're ALL FRESH...You; You're running on Fumes by the point of the Belmont Stakes...Most of Your Competition could be Racing in their FIRST 'major' Race.

That's why Secretariat's Triple Crown Race will NEVER be forgotten, nor EVER be even CLOSE to being challenged. Even if You're not into Thoroughbred racing, and all this I've written about, I'm leaving the Youtube link to His Belmont run...Let it leave You freaking ASTOUNDED. And as a Final note, a normal Thoroughbred's heart weighs somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-14 pounds. Secretariat's weighed 28 pounds....Incredible....To this Day, when a Thoroughbred of Prestige dies, only the Head and His Flags are buried together. Secretariat was the ONLY Thoroughbred to be buried Fully...Even with His 'Shoes' still on Him. Right Outside My Property. Well, I hope I was able to make You feel something, no matter Your thoughts, nor interests toward Thoroughbred racing. Here is Secretariat's MIGHTY, Belmont run...I hope You enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V18ui3Rtjz4 After that, I'm watching #Toonami Tonight, and going to Bed early; been up for almost 36 hours. <3

A panda walks into a café. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and proceeds to fire it at the other patrons.

"Why?" asks the confused, surviving waiter amidst the carnage, as the panda makes towards the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"Well, I'm a panda," he says. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry in the manual and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

Was that 35,000 euro donation to the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared Kickstarter valid or did they do it just to get our hopes up like the creators think they did?
