What would you do if there was no electricity?
How would you react?

Question is: If electricity suddenly just stopped (-.- no logic behind it, but what if)
(You were just minding your own business watching Tv or browsing the web, and suddenly the electricity stopped working, you find out later that this has happened everywhere close to you (cause there's no way to find out if this has happened anywhere in other parts of the world)) How would you react and what would you do?

This question is hard! -_- Because I've lived with it all my life, don't think I would be able to think of anything that I'd do, but as of what my mindset is right now, I think I would be somewhat fine:P

But then again NO phone NO PC NO refrigerator NO Electricity -.-

I think it would be hard for anyone in this generation to adapt to it.. Especially how the whole trading business is, the wares would be all spilled when they got the destination (f.x countries to other countries)

Okay, question. Is this :

One day we suddenly stopped having energy,
OR
Energy never existed yet?

If it never existed, I'd be much different than I am now, since I grew up with computers, anime and music.
I'd adapt, probably be some laborer, and that would be that.

If it existed and was suddenly lost, like, tomorrow....I'd go insane D:

It's actually not terrible. You learn to cope. I live on the east coast of the USA and during the summer we were hit with a major wind storm, which caused power outages for about 14 days. During this time all of our family from the area really came together. We worked on cleaning up storm damages (downed trees, etc.) during the day and cooked out in the evenings. It was actually enjoyable. Don't get me wrong. I was extremely happy when the power came back on but I feel like I gained something during the outage.

Work during the day, read at candle light at night, party around a camp fire over the weekend. Some things would take longer to do and I would miss how easy it is to do things and access information with technology but I would have to adapt.

There will be two types of folks, people with machetes and dead people without one.

I'd read a book by candle light.
I've watched the first episode of Revolution...interesting idea but I couldn't get into it.

I would honestly react like everyone else and try to find out what happened.
Eventually, everyone would adapt without it and it'll be like the ol' Little House on the Prairie days.

Unless my electricity company shut off everyone's power. Oo

I'm a tech junkie, I grew up surrounded by electrical technology.

But, I could live without electrical technology. I don't know.

Like when you go on holidays or bushwalking... you don't need to use any electrical tech.

You just enjoy the sightseeing and natural scenery. That's what I'll be doing if technology was gone. I would read a book or paint.

Depends on if I'm alone or with someone, that plays into my choices of what I would do.

I'd probably live like the American Indians. Hunt for my meat, dance around the campfire, go raiding against my enemies in this post-apocalyptic world. The only different, I'd have a katana and propane stoves. I'd do really good since I've done alot of camping and have alot of camping gear.
