When I first started watching anime I believe I watched 2 series back to back which took maybe a whole day? I remember I went to bed at 9-10am the following morning haha!

I guess it all really depends on the anime. Like, some series only have about 11 episodes. I've watched an 11 episode series in a day. I think it becomes too much once it starts distracting you from things that you need to do, like get some sleep, haha.

when i was hooked on prince of tennis, which has 178 eps and more with ova's and the nationals....i watched 25 + eps a day...i lacked wayy too much sleep, started looking like a panda and falling asleep in my classes (surprising my grades didn't drop) and i would eat behind my pc, which i never used to do....so yeah i think that was too much anime for me  |

I only watch anime at night now. Whenever I'm tired, I stop. I probably watch about 13 episodes a day on average. Maybe less sometimes, but don't worry about how many I watch. I Love Anime! That's all there is to it. During the day, i probably watch anime like Gintama if I'm bored.

Btw: I used to spend 6 hours watching anime at night. Now i spend less xD

I watch more on weekends or a day off, but have a whole series(12 eps inone shot.It easier on CR because it rools into the next.

You DO need to make sure it doesn't become your whole life! But, otherwise, watch away. Marathons are great because you sometimes pick up on nuances you miss from week to week. Personally, I had holiday responsibilities for 5 days, so I plan a butt numbing day to catch up. (Although I did manage to fit in the Eureka 7 episodes between baking and visiting family.)
I used to work night, so anime was a great way to stay awake. When you have to read the subtitles, it's easier to stay alert. Of course, that wouldn't apply if I was constantly active on that job. But, I worked for a call center and, some nights, it could be hours between calls. Crunchyroll made it easy to pause for a call.

I used to follow up to 30 shows at a time. Now I can't even follow 10 different shows at a time anymore. I stick to just 5-6 at a time. How many episodes a day depends on the shows in question.

I like that answer because i feel every has a responsibility to pull there own weight in life. when you live by yourself or with others its a rule. Like that anime Welcome to the NHK, shows you how some people end up as neet's in japan. i didn't know any thing about them in till i seen the anime and look it up online, really sad how bad some people get T-T
