How much anime is too much?

When you watch a few hundred shows per year.

No such thing exists.
Call me Greed, but I want to watch as many anime as possible. Old, new or rerun, I love watching them. Even those I don't enjoy, I get to say I saw it. The only way it could become too much is when you don't enjoy everything else life has to offer. I love anime, it's probably the majority or 1/3 of the things I like, but I still have the other things to enjoy. Mostly it's about balance, to enjoy the finer things of life without them going stale. |

Longest anime session I've done was roughly 35-40 episodes of DBZ from the beginning.
I guess that's one way to clear the Saiyan Saga... |

DBZ is the only anime I would literally clear entire sagas in one day. I've never done that with any other anime. Looking back on it, though, I really think DBZ blows. At the time I thought it was really good. |

I can do about 10, but I also find it hard cause I want to play games at the same time.

i've finished two anime series in a day

I think that the longest i went for before was all of Neon Genesis Evangelion in 1 day (at the time after seeing the ending it seemed like the biggest waste) also the last 24 episodes of FMA Brotherhood in a day and the last 17 episodes of Steins; Gate in a day

watching more than 20 episodes is too much unless the anime is the best thing in ur life which was my case with higurashi where I watched the whole first two seasons in about 2 days

It depends on how many episodes there are. I watched like 15 episodes per day or maybe more. Also, I don't think there's an answer to how much anime is too much. We all love anime. ^^

This is obviously a trick question. There is no such thing as too much anime.
I will say I watched all of D gray man in 6 days one summer. And a few times went through a whole 24 episode series in 1 day on a few occasions. It really just depends on how attached I can get into it. I can make time to have an anime sit down if I really get sucked into an anime. I don't promote doing this, just stating that was me at my peak and somehow pulled it off. Now, not so much. I get distracted very easily nowadays. |

Perhaps if you make anime your life and you ditch everything else in life, but otherwise enjoy it. That's what it's there for.
