I tend to forget about most stuff after I watch it, unless its something I really liked and have seen it more then once. I have yet to watch an anime more then once though, since theres so much available. I enjoy most things that I watch, and while I'm watching something Ill be particularly absorbed in it for the time being, but afterwards I may only have a general recollection of the shows plot. I'm like that with movies and tv shows also. Any kind of entertainment like that I just enjoy in the moment, and afterwards I may recall a few funny things, or interesting twists that made me think about something, but the rest is just discarded automatically. I have a friend who remembers tons of shit from movies and tv shows and when he asks "remember when so and so did this or that in this show" my answer 99% of the time is 'No, Not really' lol

With stuff I like, I usually don't forget things. With stuff that was OK, or just simply "good", I will likely forget the plot points and characters. However, if you ask me about a show that I've seen, and I know the show that you're talking about, I can tell you about my thoughts on the series almost all the time. So even if I don't remember the characters or what happened to them, I can still tell you that, for instance, "It felt like the characters really understood each other," or "the dialogue was well-written," or "the ending sucked." Most of the time, I have a pretty detailed memory of the things I thought during the show. At the very least, I always remember whether I liked a show.

It's all about how long your memory is. I remember most of the stuff I watch, down to the character names, and I've seen well over 100 series of anime. Obviously, I know some more than most and out of those some I know a few really well to the point where I don't even have to dig in my memory to bring them up.

Same here ^_^

But its just great imo I've rewatched alot of shows cuz of that and the enjoyment hasnt gone down of watching those shows ^_^

But i still remember if an anime didnt fall into my liking, so i dont rewatch those, although some animes that i remember not liking first time around, and then watched them later and actually kinda liked them, but in the end i was still right about not really liking them ^^' So those i dont rewatch :D

But then again, it also limits the amount of animes that i can remember i've watched

I'm envious of you, I WANT to forget about it, because then next time I watch it I can get the "first time watching" experience again, It's always best the first time you watch an anime, because after that you remember stuff and spoilers :/ I do remember parts of a series a year down the road, but I would rather forget the whole plot of it and watch it again, if that were to happen.. My life would be complete, I could enjoy every anime that I have as a favorite forever.

I personally am unable to remember everything, I just remember the General Idea.

However, I think not remembering everything is good, that gives you the ability to re watch it with some excitement as if it were your first time again. So, I do not mind that I will space it here and there!

Yes I know what you mean....a friend asked me about my favorite anime: D-gray man its been a year since I watched it and I couldn't remember the main characters name....anime fill the video game part of my brain rather than the movie section...its like a big bang then its gone...I think that there are soo many anime that you simply forget the older ones. Like if 30 amazing movies came out this year at the same time, you wouldn't be able to remember them all.

Endings I usually forget. Probably because they're usually stupid. But I can remember the general plot really well. Unless it was a really generic series which isn't worth remembering anyway.

I tend to get bored watching a movie after the second or third time, because I've memorized the whole thing by then. Unlike my mom, who can't ever remember a plot, and she enjoys watching it the tenth time as much as she did the first time.

I am able to remember the basic plot for most anime I watch just by the name. Though as the amount of anime I watch increases it is slowly getting harder.

I always remember the basic plot of any anime I've seen. Hentai, on the other hand, not so much.
