Looking for some help from support staff or other users.

I bought a black friday 12 month annual pass on Nov. 23rd, 2012.
($49.95 was deducted from paypal).


On Nov. 24, 2012 (today)

I noticed today that automatic renewals were programmed in so I wanted to turn that off / cancel automatic renewals.

I was probably my fault (didn't read things thoroughly?) but when I clicked through to cancel the automatic renewal; it also cancelled my premium account right away which was totally unexpected.

(I was expecting that I would retain premium membership for the rest of the 359 days that I paid for! At least, that's what happens when I cancel recurring subscriptions at other sites/world of warcraft/netflix/etc...)

I presume that this is some form of scripting bug as crunchyroll has been awesome to date. I've placed a request for support to restore my premium status for the original duration but haven't heard back yet.

Has anyone else had this problem/heard of this problem and had it resolved.

I have never tried this myself for fear that I would lose my time anyway. Don't worry though, they will restore your premium shortly.

Bjak will sort it Your supposed to wait for the day before it bills your account to cancel it. A bit strange but if you cancel it after paying for the month the account also ends. Bjak/Starr/customer service will sort it.

I hope it is sorted out sono, I have been a crunchyroll member since 2006 and have been premium on and off in that time period. I was so blown away by the concept of a legit; all streaming anime website that I've been rooting for them all this time.

In fact, I just finished promoting them on the Canadian redflagdeals website yesterday...

I saw in their help menu that cancelling if you only have 30 days left may end your membership right away. However, it didn't say anything about 359 days being cancelled. Like I said, I'm sure it's just a scripting bug and not the intention of CR but I wil update this thread when it is resolved.
