Rereading 'Little Brother' by Cory Doctorow, because the sequel has just come out! It's about a guy who's trying to take down the DHS after being wrongly imprisoned and questioned for terrorism.

You should read the summary on this page if you're interested:
http://craphound.com/littlebrother/about/

And if you really want to read it, you can download it in any format from the author's page:

Take a gander, my pretties.

I decided to take a look at the fan-translated SAO light novels. They're not bad, and look great on an e-reader.

I'm also working through the major works of 19th century France, but that's less about fun and more about the misdirection of my uni's course requirements.

"Age of Chaos" written by a user named product09.
It has promise, it has a good story so far, but it could use a bit more description.
The two things I hate about it: The grammar is just horrible and it give more questions throughout the story than it needs.
But the story is what keeps me hooked.

"My Talks with Dean Spanley" short story about reincarnation. A man speaks repetitively with a pastor who is a member of his club and with his father finds that the pastor was previously his father childhood dog. Absolutely charming.
