Your opinion on ecchi?

Ecchi is nothing great by itself, I don't mind seeing it in Anime's, because often its just used as dirty jokes and all xD But that said, any series that has a great plot would do fine without ecchi, I don't think the genre has anything really good going for it, besides its what the Studio's think about what the "stereotypical Japanese guy" wants -.-

Pure win :D! Otherwise its kinda meh, but as most have said, if its got a good story & plot or simply interesting characters i'll watch it

In something like Highschool of the Dead it was pointless and did nothing but bring down what could have been a much better series, (Needless kind of fits that as well). But something like Highschool DxD wouldn't be able to have a plot without the ecchi, so it really depends, but I don't much care.

As long as the plot is focused on more than the ecchi I am usually fine. Though sometimes I break the rule if I am just in the mood for comedy. XD
