Love it, especially when it has action and a plot. Although, if it's just funny, it also works. I hardly ever drop an ecchi anime, but I will if it's not interesting to me.

I'm going to need you to explain what you mean by "treats women with disrespect". That statement confuses me as the series is about women who are all pretty much badasses in their own way.

I greatly dislike ecchi, as opposed to what seems to be the common view on it. I just don't find it in any way necessary.

Anime on its own has the potential for great stories, deep characters, and emotional involvement (if done well). I personally don't think that ecchi adds to any of that, it really only adds to comedic value. Now, I will admit that I have found some ecchi scenes to be quite hilarious. However, I personally don't find ecchi to be funny enough to justify the negative reputation that anime gets in the west (and maybe even in the east) on its regard.

Some may say, "Ecchi is what is selling anime in the east." To which I will reply, "If that is the case, then I shall enjoy anime until the complete ecchi takeover, at which point I will naturally stop being a fan."

I generally can't watch anime that have a focus on ecchi. Its okay if its every now and then but things like To Love Ru, Freezing, and High School DxD I just consider trashy.

To Love Ru. the only ecchi i've watched so far but it isn't bad. A lot of accidental wardrobe malfunctions though lol.

I watched maybe 3-4 when I first started getting into Anime about a year ago attempting to give it chance after chance to give me something different, they all seem the same to me.

one word as simple as this AMAZING i know you guy's think it's pervy but it's anime and if stuff liked ripped shirts or open air bathes happen WTF is the point of showing them like that and having it blurred or something so yes eechi is the best i don't want it for every anime but it's always better with some eechi that's what i think
