I use a Droid Razr and it has a pretty big screen, but I like it. It makes things like watching YouTube, Netflix, Crunchyroll, and browsing the web on my phone really convenient. The Razr is amazingly slim though, so with the otter box on it, it is like a normal smartphone. Not too big for my pocket either.

I use my phones for making calls and nothing else for everything else i have a Pc a tablet a Gameboy or a Vita.
So going by that i would say hell yes they are to big just imagine how small phones could be now if they would focus on only making calls.

Now i will admit being a man and all i am lured in by the new shiny phones every ones in a while and get me new ones just cause hey look cool but i never use any of the functions ever...

Smartphones have never captivated my attention. I don't know how some people can get so obsessed with it.

I'm waiting for holographic phones.

I agree about only using phones for making calls and other things of that nature. I don't have s phone to play games on all the time and to have a ton of useless apps that I probably will never use regularly.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S3. I do everything with it from recording events, to reading manga, typing documents, even watching crunchyroll. Speaking of crunchyroll, the visuals my smartphone put out are freaken sweet! The screen is big but for me, I like it. I can still hold it in my hand and it still fits in my pocket. With all the stuff it can do, the only electronics I would need to take with me if I were to go on a trip were my GS3 and PSVita. All the entertainment I need right there

I loves me a large smartphone. My next upgrade will have a big fat screen. I have large enough hands to hold a basketball easily in one hand facing down, so large is perfect.

I miss having a brick for a phone. Made me feel like a man.

Quoted for Win.

I remember when the line of portable phones use to be like cordless home phones and you barely had caller ID on those. Now we have mini computers with phoning ability.

I only love the big size of the screen of a Smartphone if the Resolution is equal to it.
So the Samsung Galaxy Note II is perfect. :)
But this is the limit of the size of a Smartphone for me, it must not get any bigger.
I mean yh, only if you want an iPad or Tablet like thing. :P

They ARE fucking big, I have a smart phone but it's small a petite...which is cute I guess

Others have like these huge ginormous ones that look something comparable what a "hand held" lap top would look like. But who am I to complain, it not even my phone

YOU KNOW WHAT IS A BIG PHONE?!

the samsung galaxy s3. that is a huge phone. and the note. that's even bigger.
i mean i'm getting at the fact that people really like it when there's a big screen, but really...it just looks huge in the palm of your hand and in the pouch of your pocket.

but smartphones are cool. not hating. just saying, screen's are kinda too big sometimes...
