When I was in grade school I would lie all the time, but that got me into some serious trouble, so I decided to never lie from that point onward. Recently I have discovered that lying can be a good thing if done to spare others feelings or pick them up when they are having a bad day. Overall, the less lying you do the easier life is.

That said I don't lie that often, although I think it's more to do with whether people think you're lying. 'Mine is to deceive, mislead and manipulate.
