time off, man

taking some time off is the best thing to do

good shows will come out while you're away and you won't have to wait a week for the next episode

Shrapnel: I've already seen many of the shows you listed. I even own some of them. White Album still fell victim to the same rage I felt watching Maison Ikkoku and Kimagure Orange Road, and that was a period piece. Episode 4 alone made me scream at my monitor over the lack of cell phones.
As for School Days, I mainly watched for the Nice Boat meme.
Kino's Journey? One of the best anime ever. :)
Haruhi? Lain? Blood+? Those shows are like fucking church. I'm considering getting a Haruhi tattoo myself.
TWGOK was the shit. The arc with Shiori in the first season had some very insightful shit going on. Just replace books with CDs and cassettes and you can see how Keima is right about digital media killing the physical stuff.
DBZ = fucking classic.
Air Gear? Really? FUCK THE AIR GEAR ANIME! Read the manga instead! The anime just goes for 25 episodes and then stops abruptly.
Princess Jellyfish and Highschool of the Dead both also ended too early.
Yumeiro Pâtissière is Iron Chef with more desserts. It's too kiddie in hindsight but I still wonder if the animators were on something when they made that show.
FMA: Stick to Brotherhood or read the manga. The '03 anime never happened.
I've seen the following Gundam anime: First Gundam, Wing, G, Gundam X, Seed, and 00. Out of those, I've only finished G and 00.
Heaven's Lost Property and Girls Bravo are both utter garbage. Ecchi, harem, weak-willed beta-male protagonists, unoriginal premises, and in GB's case, an ending that basically resets the story. Those shows can die in a fire! I will never watch them again. I'd rather watch Russo-era WCW than this shit!

Tomoki isn't a weak willed protagonist, he's one of the better ones I've seen in a harem type show. As for FMA, I meant FMA both Brotherhood and the original 2003 version. For Gundam, you should watch some of the UC ovas they have out, most are really good.

Tomoki's pervy shit and the fanservice still killed HLP. The flying panties bit looked good, but the fanservice was just excessive. Give us more plot instead.

Yumeiro Pâtissière: Come to think of it, if we ever get another season, I'm sure Ichigo and co. would prefer the sweets in Washington State and Colorado.

Oh noes not the original Full Metal Alchemist. xD Srsly and probably one of the most overrated non +100 episode anime ever. ^^ Starts with a very promising plot and then it just explodes in a ridiculous strange plot.. a little bit like those mangas that start with an innocent plotline and then after you get a good idea about what is happening.. BAM PEOPLE DIE OMG!!
*cough* and the spoiler example is quite harmless. ^^ There was some manga where a devil was a lawyer for neutral souls in hell.. after a few cases you suddenly start a war for the well being of hell and the world... okay.. ^^'' I mean it's a totally fine tool of storytelling, but it happens a little bit to often, so I pretty much never trust any innocent looking plotline anymore. xD

Not that FMA is horrible but I was pretty baffled that so many people hyped it like EVERYWHERE.. and after some years.. after I was so annoyed that I didn't know that popular anime that apparently everyone saw.. I saw it and was just baffled with an open mouth WTH I was watching there and how that could've been so popular(especially with young girls). ^^

I think this would be the good time to use.... "TL;DR".

I never focus on bad shows. I watch what I find intriguing, and I don't look back, ever. I might not like those shows now, but if I enjoyed it during the time I was watching it, that's good enough.

I just rewatched Air for the first time in about a year. The whole mess with the dinosaurs and shit toward the end was pretty trippy, and it's got a good dub, so I keep it around for that.

Fortune Arterial, on the other hand, was too cliched in hindsight. No wonder it's not gonna get dubbed. A carbon copy of other stuff. Still a better love story than Twilight, though. At least FA's vampires don't fucking sparkle.
