Who would you bring back?
|
I do want my father back but I wouldn't really do it because what was meant to be, meant to be, I'm not really religious but I don't like messing with God's work. If he wanted my dad by his side than I have nothing else to do, that's just life.... But still I want to be with him one more time.

Over time, you get over it, sometimes longer than others, but you get over it none the less. Bringing someone back is bound to fuck you up one way or another. I can see people making quite a lot of money in a world like that though. I agree if you do bring back someone it will come back to haunt you one way or another |

While there is someone I miss I would never bring them back. It just seems disrespectful to the life they lived.

The rules governing the ability to resurrect people, according to the OP, are as follows:
1. You get one charge of this ability in your entire lifetime. 2. A resurrected person comes back in perfect health and at a point in their life set by the ability's user. 3. The ability is only bestowed once a person reaches 18 years of age, but may be used at any point afterward. There's no rule stating that the ability doesn't work on yourself or that it doesn't work postmortem, so designating oneself as the target of the ability after having died is a potentially valid answer. I would further put forward that since the ability doesn't simply "pick up where one left off", but rather imbues a complete reset of the physical body at a custom age, a resurrected person has technically begun a new lifetime upon being brought back. I would also add that since something about a person's 18th birthday bestows the ability to resurrect people, anyone reset at an age beneath 18 technically ought to obtain another charge of the ability upon reaching 18 years old again. I therefore would use the ability to continually resurrect myself, setting the point in my life to reset to for each resurrection at one nanosecond prior to my 18th birthday. In this fashion I would use the ability to become an immortal. |

He's got to be one of my favorite comedians! I had a lucid dream where I got to see him live. I was going to meet him after the show, but uh. The realization that he was dead kicked in and unfortunately, I woke up. |

Oh, alright. I'll take the exercise seriously. There are only a few people who would be likely to get me to spend my one charge of this ability: direct family, indirect family to which I am nonetheless very close, a significant other, or a child (if I had any).

Once in a lifetime... what has happened has happened. I think I would save it. Never know when someone important may need saving in the future. Though I would like to talk with her again. Even just for a night...

Hmm, lets see, if I had to bring back one person, it would have to be a mass murderer who took the easy way out by committing suicide, and then punish him ^^ Seems logical to me
