I'm 16 so I don't really watch full on yaoi but I avoided shounen ai at first thinking I wouldn't like it... I watched Uraboku and didn't even realise it was shounen ai (but that was when I just started really getting into anime so I wasn't really aware of the genre). I always ignored sekaiichi hatsukoi on this site for ages but when I had nothing else to watch I ended up marathoning it in 2 days O.o That led on to me watching Gravitation, Gauken heaven, and then Junjou Romantica... Im not sure if Junjou romantica crosses the border from shounen ai into yaoi but I have seen pics from yaoi manga before and I cant handle that level hehe ._. Basically if theres a story behind it I dont mind it but I think I was just going through a phase I dont get all fangirly over it though hehe... Most guys wont like it as thats just how it is, I wouldn't want to be watching yuri e.g. like ep 8 of shinsekai yori where there was yaoi and yuri in the girlxgirl made me uncomfortable but boyxboy didn't....

Anyway basically I don't mind it (maybe im a closet perv too ) but I prefer watching boyxgirl romance anime, I wouldnt say yaoi or yuri is wrong I guess its just whether you like that stuff :] I think romance anime is romance anime no matter what gender both the people are so I like it anyway... But obviously yaoi and yuri means more explicit but yea whatever, I think its fine (:

I love shounen ai's. I think there so carefree and cute. I love the simple moments in the plot when all I want is for a kiss to take place, but I don't no when, or where, or it will ever happen.

if you like it, that's your business and I'm fine with it. We're all free to choose what we like and dislike. I prefer shojo for when I want to watch a romantic anime, actually.
