As with anything, it depends upon the story. The basic idea certainly doesn't bother me any more than yuri or stories with heterosexual characters do. I liked Gravitation, didn't like Fake, for example.

I have a question for you girls who like yaoi:
What do you guys think when you see real guys kissing and such? Do you squeel then too? :P
(There are quite a few guys who are just as great looking as anime guys, just saying XD)

This is a great question! It really depends for me personally. I like to think I'm open minded so I don't mind it with real guys, but since it's human nature I might be a little weirded out if I see it in public in all honesty. But then again, I hate it when regular couples do all sorts of PDA in public lol, it's like get a room! Anyways I wouldn't squee unless it's some really really hot guys (oh god my shallowness is showing...)

I watched Gravitation, and found it pretty cute most of the time. Shounen-ai, from the looks of it, is harmless and I find it as cute as straight romance, though it seems like there are less formulas for the character combination and 'drama' of the relationship and a lot are very similar.
I really hate explicit 'yaoi', but that's because I'm a prude and hate when a manga/anime starts detailing those things in any way.

Reaction to Gravitation: Aww, this is cute~ Shuichi's adorable puppy face... he's such a girl~

Reaction to Junjou Romantica (which my friend recommended without telling me the maturity level): The art style's a little.... what the-? Put your clothes on and give me back my innocence, dammit!
