Hello all [= For my sociology class my prof. assigned a project where you have to create a hypothesis about something you care about, accompanied by a survey. My hypothesis is : Are those introduced to Japanese culture through anime more accepting of other cultures- as opposed to those who don’ t watch anime. I surveyed a lot of people around my college campus, but strangely I haven’t met any other otaku ^^;;

I need to hear from some people that do enjoy anime. If you possibly have the time, could you fill out my online survey? It’s broken into 2 parts and will literally take under 5 minutes. I was a fan of Asian cinema too.Watch tons of anime.Started with TV first but went to ON DEMAND fpr other anime but now use 5 websites plus ON DEMAND.

&& Yess I did too lol. I began watching anime late night on cartoon network (Inuyasha I think). Then I began searching it on youtube and watching it exclusively in japanese with subs. Not too long after I ventured onto jdramas/movies and kdrama/movies other Asian media of the sort. It really does open the gateway to some cultural understanding.

the 2nd question on the first link really isnt fair. cause it asks if you've seen bleach, naruto, one piece. but its also assuming that if u have seen them then you also enjoy them.

Question 2 and 3 were kind of dumb. Why is "the big three" relevant and if I haven't seen them question 3 assumes I don't like anime at all.

Thats my fault for poor wording. I meant that if you answered no to watching anime, why doesn't it appeal to you. Also, I only included the big three because I'm surveying those into anime and those not. It would be bias for me to put a bunch of otaku questions only myself and others on sites like this would understand. Believe me if I had more freedom under my prof. guidelines for the survey, there'd be alot more anime-related things in it. I'm sorry you both had those problems with it, but thank you for your time ^^;;
