Mizore was definitely my favorite character! :D
The manga is still currently ongoing and it keeps getting better the farther you get into it. I feel like it's unfair to compare the anime and manga though because they are almost completely different, if you want some panty shots and a bunch of goofy scenes then go with the anime but if you want a serious story with plot twists, romance, humor, action and such then go with the manga.
I feel like it might be better to watch the anime before you read the manga because you can get a better look at the characters personality and how they sound, which to me is important.
Either way I hope they make a third season to the anime because at the very end of the second season it actually started to get somewhat serious.

I've only read the manga so no comment on the anime but as for favorite character its 3 way tie between Inner Moka, Mizore, or Ruby. Though I still root for Mizore x Kurumu rather than her and Tsukune  |
