Why are tentacles still put into anime these days? Why don't anime makers allow us to bury and forget that stuff?

It's been in some forms of Japanese art since I think the 1800s, where a story was told with illustrations of a woman who had relations with a large octopus.
Since those days, it has been a common part of anime and manga aimed at perverts.

That tentacle scene was very bizarre and didn't really fit there, I thought. I also don't know why tentacles don't go away, but I'm not going to make a big deal about it. I guess we're a minority |
