ride out the pain and you'll eventually you be back to where you were before you met her/him. Go out hang out with friends, that usually helps out alot.

I just move on... I have never been broken up with and I would usually say something really honest to make the woman I was with not ever want to speak to me again so I didnt have to deal with phone calls. The worst "break up" I ever had was my divorce and to deal with break ups I used to just make sure I never went to bed without a woman in it with me. After I while I had to grow up and realize that I needed to be comfrotable in my own skin and learn how to be alone with my thoughts. It taught me a lot about myself.

It's not easy to handle, not if you were really in love with the person and you know they weren't with you. Regardless of the mistakes either side makes If someone loves you they will stick it out with you until the end of their lives. No matter how it's sliced if someone says "I don't love you anymore" then there wasn't really love from them to begin with the end result is you were a tool to them if they spoke those words.

Edit: There are people that change as things happen in their lives, some only need a person there to be temporary for them until they find something else that's more important to them it's not always another person it can be anything.

Nothing should ever be more important or committed to other than their mate or the relationship will fail unless one of the two is capable of withstanding, understanding, and capable meeting the others needs. I'm not biased toward the man or woman here both of them have to meet the required above or it will fail.

I can't say how anyone should ride a break up out each person has to find their own way, not all ways work for everyone it's virtually impossible to stomach if you really cared for them and takes a very long time to recover, I know people who still have problems 5~7 years after breaking up with someone because they loved their mate.

This post is not aimed at anyone related to me this is just my views on the matter.

When people go through break ups, no matter what kind of a front they put on, they always are left with feelings of regret, sadness, loneliness and various other emotions. Now me, being the pessimist I am, I choose to avoid relationships at all costs as one or both people WILL end up getting hurt in the end. So by avoiding these, I can spare myself the emotional anguish that all other fools go through.

Hey, agree or disagree, this is my opinion and one of the upsides to being a pessimist.

Ive been dumped and have dumped a few girls, the one thing they had in common was that I never looked back. This does not mean I wasn't sad or anything, its just that I realized a long time ago that there's no point on holding onto those that dont want to be held on to.

Its funny to me that when someone sees other peoples relationship and says " they should just break up already, always fighting and complaining, etc" but when their relationship in the same boat, they cant seem to see the same picture.

Sometimes you just need to take a step back, and ask where this is all going. Is it worth whatever iam going through to hold on to this. Most of the time those that leave, rarely return.

there is a saying, " If you want something very, very badly, let it go free. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever. If it doesn’t, it was never yours to begin with.."

One day of heavy drinking with friends, then one day of recovery, then just say screw it and move on.

Listen to typical break-up songs, get so depressed I can't eat hardly, cry, more crying... and then I move on. Luckily, I've been in a relationship for over a year now, so I hope I don't have to do this again. ; w ;
