Help? We don't need much help from them. If we get help from them, the more restrictions we get. He'll the DOI doesn't say shizznat about the government helping.

The problem isn't the big bad government, it's the morons that don't know who they're voting for. It's easy for everyone to blame the man in power, but more often than not they were voted into their position. If you all have a problem with what is happening get out and educate your community. If all you do is sit back and bitch and whine you are just as responsible as the trash your complaining about.

I beg to differ, sir. A Patriot's History by Larry Schweikart is a true and accurate account of American History. Some good people, such as Glenn Beck, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, and others are fighting the U.N.'s Agenda 21 plan. We can still save our country. We just have to wake enough people up to the reality of what's going on. The U.N. doesn't control the world yet and, with the help of a few good patriots, we can get back to the principles of the Founding Fathers.

I hope we can wake up more people, Fellow Lightworker. So many of these sheep are mind bogglingly ignorant and laugh and mock at the awakened ones. If they don't wake up, they might die and meet The Creator, which would be the only way for them realize.

No I don't believe they are failing us. The Government was meant to keep us in check and allow for a certain flow in our community. We are free to do as we want, within reason. The way logic works for the modern man in relativity to power, is aimed at trying to keep everything balanced. If we allow one thing to get too powerful, then another thing would reach the same extreme and push each other into levels that would be too ludicrous for the average man to want to be involved with. I don't feel they are failing us as they have kept religion and government separate powers that don't intertwine. But that does not leave them free from marks. The people in the positions of power are too simple minded or self absorbed as they neglect the more worldly problems for more personal items of discussion. Yes we do hit the occasional big issues but then turn away as they fail to uphold their duties. They're not so much failures as much as they just are disappointments. Slow and inconsistent progression tied with regression.

Its all about the class warfare. Soon we won't have a middle class to milk anymore and then what will we do when everyone is either rich or on welfare and no one has to pay taxes because the rich can buy shit to show less income i guess they would pay property tax and the rest wouldn't have any income. That's the future i say tax the top 2% give some tax brakes to the middle class and reduce welfare. I'm tired of seeing people not even try because they know that will make almost as much money going on welfare as they would if they go to college. In the state i live single mother with 2 kids makes $630 or more per child as well as herself so $640x3= $1890, plus WIC and Food stamps so they can eat well on top of that if they really try hard enough they can get the gov to even pick up the tab for rent. Oh their medical bills are all covered as well. I went to school in the south and know several people that tell their kids to act crazy so they can get more money and no one makes them prove it i mean something really does need to be done about our welfare system. All these things i say i've seen with my own eyes so they aren't just hearsay or something i read these are all people i've seen hell my dad used to own alot of low income housing and his best renters were the ones that he received his payment from the government the rest he would have to hound thats why he got out of it... Here is a funny one for you one renter was so stupid they burned down the house thinking they could collect on insurance. LOL

Well, let us hope that we can wake enough people up so that doesn't happen. The Founders only had the support of 1/3 of the colonists and, by the grace of God, we beat the most power nation on Earth at the time. As long as there is a few good men to fight for the cause, we can save our country from the Progressive's agenda.

When it comes to the end of the day you're able to live a normal life without a constant fear of your border's being attacked. I'd say that's a pretty good job. To the rest of the world we're just rich people fighting over crab grass.

We're far from perfect and a lot of countries do things better than we do, but as far as doing it's job the government is doing fine. We're more than capable of paying back our debt. We just have to stop bickering and suck up the fact you may not be able to get that $7 cup of coffee at Starbucks.

As for the economy it's more mental than arithmetic. It's all about the velocity of money that is primarily controlled by consumer confidence which has been in the toilet lately.

Protip: If someone really sounds like they know what they are talking about, they probably don't. Especially if its on the internet. People that actually know a great deal on a subject will be hesitant to say things because they feel like it would take a lot of background information to justify the conclusion they may come too. Also if they know what they are talking about they will be careful to word their opinion in such a way as to not lead to broad-generalizations, sweeping arguments, logical fallacies, etc.

Politicians aren't there to do what you want, they're there to present what they want to do and you choose the one with the most ideas you agree with. There's always going to be a certain element of disconnect. Also, as others have said before, it's not the government's job to help you. It may be beneficial for it to create the best possible economic atmosphere, but it's not there to help you personally. While I won't say the U.S. government is doing things well(not even close), compared to most of the countries in Europe and the de-facto dictator of Russia, Vladimir Putin, America isn't doing that badly at all.
