I have been dumped twice, and only been asked out but a girl once. I still remember that moment perfectly, so even if you don't end up with him. I would expect that he is going to look back at it during hard times and say damn....

Be happy you took the time to try! That's very important, no one gets anywhere without it.
Love is a funny thing, i often thought i would be the last of my friends to get married.
As it turns out, i was the first, it just happened. My parents would always tell me, "things will work out" and despite how much i hate them saying it; frankly i have yet to prove them wrong. So have a heart, everything will be fine, and now you know what its like to be an anime girl embarrassed in that moment. :-)

In any case, you seem plenty cute to me, have a good day. If it makes you feel better most guys are clueless when in comes to love. Heck i am married and i am still clueless.

Pretty much everyone has been rejected at one point in life. It's just apart of having those tingly feelings, and life being what it is.

You'll bounce back in no time.

And now, a personal story.

I was once texted by a girl I had had a crush on for the longest time, confessing how she felt, and then after I admitted how I felt, she told me she sent it to the wrong person.

Yep, that happened, and it was way too awkward to talk to her after that for pretty much the rest of high school (I was a sophomore at the time).

Also, now a funny story - because this doesn't need to be a baww thread.

While working on an internship in Iowa last Fall, my group of collaborators (four of us) and I went out to drink to celebrate a completed project. My associate had just gotten a break up text from his girlfriend, whom he hadn't seen for a few weeks while we were out, so we wanted to cheer him up. We bought him lots of drinks, and he got pretty wasted. He ended up going home with the bar tender, who was a pretty attractive woman. Or so we thought.

Some back story: as part of our pay, we were all put up in hotel rooms. The four of that went out were roommates set up int two different rooms.

It's about 3 am when then bar is closing up, and she takes him home. About 3 hours later, he stumbles into his apartment, which is next to mine. A few minutes later, there's a knock at my door. My roommate answers it. It was our lonelyhearted buddy. and his roommate.

The roommate is laughing his butt off, and Mr. Lonelyheart looks pale as a ghost. At first, I thought it was from drinking too much. I thought wrong.

He goes into this elaborate bit about her doing all kinds of sexy poses, and other erotic things, and as he undressed her, he discovered the the long, hard truth.... it was indeed a trap that had brought him home. He talked, in great detail, about freaking out, grabbing his stuff, and trying to find a taxi back to the hotel.

Anyway, the moral of the story is: it's a trap.

The first time I was asked out, was in 1st grade. We were having a school dance, and this boy asked me to go with him, so I said yes.

But then the Powerpuff Girls were on, so I forgot all about the dance. Afterwards, I think I was cursed by some relationship God for leaving that kid all by himself, because after that, I ended up having bad luck with romance, haha. -__-

not to seem harsh but

" it happens. "

There's so many other better things in life
to be doing that pining over someone who doesn't like you back.

not too mention this is borderlining a bit on the personal thread side.
I'll let the other mods decide on this one.

Happens all the time, after awhile you learn to accept it.

It's not so bad, at least you know you tried and that's all that matters in the end. Because each time you stay true and confident with your feelings, things can only get better.
