They can't tell that their energy is being drained?
If it's one person they might start feeling down or sad maybe tired. That's why crowds are more appealing. A little bit from each person in mass quantities. But earlier I meant that people are unaware that they are draining others most the time.

Well I've only read a little bit about it. People call it psychic vampirism and they feed off mental energy. Other than that regular humans. No violence, blood or glamours. lol
