I'm pretty sure Cell Division and other cell processes are self-regulating processes that doesn't require the brain's control... they just require what we call proteins that activate or deactivate and tell the cell when to stop dividing.

These proteins are created by a process called protein synthesis which comes from the nucleus of a cell. This is not a brain-regulated process.

When the gene becomes mutated, it no longer produces that protein which stops cell growth, this is what we call cancer.

For your information, DNA is responsible for every organ, tissues and cells in the body, it has a "mind of its own" (if you will), it is the one that created brain molecules in the first place. Not the other way around.

The writer of that article clearly has no understanding of Molecular Biology, Genetics or Neuroscience. Or is purely speculating on random hypothesis that was never proven.

Did you learn this at propaganda school? You are the one that doesn't have a good understanding. You have non-understanding of the subject. We are talking about quantum physics here. If you look and research properly there is good evidence that the human also works at the quantum level.

Care to provide links to these sources you claim are "good evidence" that humans work at a quantum level?

Nothing new to speak of, barely even interesting.

Are you a Reptilian disinformation agent or one of their puppets? I can tell.

Quite the contrary, it simply isn't new as idea or scientific theory and thus no longer particularly interesting to me.

You know like how scientists say we only use 10% or so of our brainpower? I wonder if the other 90% is like magic stuff (throwing fireballs and telekinesis).

You wouldn't be hearing that around the scientific community anymore. The idea that we use 10% of our brain and that functions are split between its right and left hemispheres are two common misconceptions. Your cognitive functions aren't caused by the brain acting as a single, restricted unit nor are they the result of separate regions working independently, but rather these regions work in conjunction with each other to produce mobility, speech, emotions, our consciousness, etc. In a nutshell, at least. With regards to the latter misconception it's important to note that certain functions are indeed dominant in one hemisphere than the other, but they are not as permanent or distinct as they've been made to sound.

tl;dr: No, that's bullshit. As much as I'd love it.

GayBoy is wrong. Everything is made out of energy. Quantum particles are made of energy and energy is made out of consciousnesses. The entire Universe is One Awareness, One Person, One Mind, and One Spirit, we are all One. 11111110101010100010100000000000000010100101010101011010101001

Very Meta of you. And I agree. But it's nearly impossible to prove or disprove the One-ness theory, which makes it unscientific. The original posted article I think was very thought provoking. And I'm not sure why gayasianboy is dissembling the matter. But he wants to nit pick bio-chem theories with quantum mechanics, so I'm done arguing with him.

Yeah, just leave him alone. He just wants to win really badly while having the knowledge of a person that is destined to lose the argument.

Quoted from a HuffP user, which I agree with most -

"From what we know so far the brain works quite a bit differently than a computer. There is no CPU, memory is stored differently, etc. But there is a computer model called neural nets that seems to be an excellent model for how the brain works. In fact it works so well that we have even begun to develop some devices (e.g. cochlear implants) that connect directly to the human nervous system."
