Clannad (first season)

Overrated, over moe, too much "forced cuteness", the humor is also overly forced, everyone has the personality of a kawaii paperclip, the story drags on and on...

And I don't think I should mention what went wrong with School Days...

my biggest regret this year was actually watching the whole thing expecting it to get better, never again

Just taking one of my few dropped anime, Negima.
Not the original one, the one with the "?!"

Being a big fan of the manga, I had high expectations, and what I got was...just horrible. T__T

I loved the Naruto to Shippuden shift.

As well I thought SAO was going to be lame and it blew my expectations out of the water.

I call it, the "negativity effect" instead of the "S.A.O Effect."

I love Medaka Box after it goes through its shift from comedy to shonen but ugh that first season is just ajbdjklvgkjbgkjs! Season 2 makes people forget about that first season but it still just turns people off from the series.

Okay, so, seeing how these ones are going, I will list the absolute WORST offenders to me.

Witch Hunter Robin.... It has been so long I couldn't tell you exactly why, but it sits there, and whenever I see an advert, or a friend tries to tell me "Oh! Lets watch WHR" I go, "I would, but I may bleed out before the first episode ends."

And the most offensive to me... was Gilgamesh. I can appreciate "bad endings," if they are done in good taste, and there is no real way to get a medium ground ending without a Deus Ex Machina. This series... this series. All I can say is.. I am so glad that the strange bastard grown up child thing kills "God." Because it killed my faith in anime for about two years. It was absolutely amazing in story for the first half... and then it started to go down hill... then fell off a cliff... and died in a pile of cow dung.

Read the manga and finds it very interesting so watched the anime and it lead to dissapointment.

Final Fantasy Unlimited. Never before has such a steaming pile of garbage been thrust before me.

Also I personally love SAO and still think it's one of the best shows this year

I love blue exorcist,but no hate here... why did you feel disapointed? im really curious,because the series i know with time will be easily forgotten and i wanna know why? Id understand if its the fact it does not stay true to the manga.

Rosario + Vampire, the Anime was so full of fanservice and pantyshots that it became ridiculous after a while. ( On the other hand, I've started with the manga and seems to be pretty good, and they actually have some action and less fanservice.)

Personally I liked the first arc of S.A.O, the second arc was indeed kinda dissapointing though, guess we'll see if it gets better in GGO ( If they do animate it.
