I literally use my smart phone like a Swiss army knife. I use it to check bus times while traveling, do my banking, listen to music, check when library books are due, as a dictionary, and to look up information and directions. I even use it for things like gps and a compass. Do you personally think you could get used to using a flip phone again after having your smart phone for so long?

Banned

Hell, yeah, man. I never even had a smart phone. Smart phones are redundant, too big for, and a waste of money, in my opinion. I prefer the older flip phones and that's what I have. Man, I would even rather have the even older ones that did not flip.

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

Absolutely, but I've always stayed true to my flip phone because I have no interest purchasing a smart phone. >:3

I like having the internet in the palm of my hand. Not to mention the countless other features they provide now.

Go Back? I never left. I use a Casio Ravine. I refuse to pay the extortionist rates for data.

I was thinking about ditching my smartphone and getting the cheapest phone boost mobile offers (which is a samsung flip phone) and the pay as you go plan so I can save more for a new (used) car.

I have no intention to pay for a data plan, so if I were to get a smart phone it would in essence be like combining an ipod touch and a phone. And since I have both a phone and an ipod touch already, there's no need to go that route.
I'm find with my current flip phone. |

Blast reality. Burst it into shreds. Banishment...this world!

Considering I have a Samsung brick/slide phone, it wouldn't be reverting back that much for me.

I already did. I acquired a droid from my friend, who basically just didn't feel like selling it. After a couple of months, I found that I didn't use it for anything but calls. I almost always have a computer available, and touch-screens are ridiculously bad at navigating and typing things. I have shit to do -- I don't have time to thumb through 7 different menus to get to my destination. Games and apps are relatively useless -- they're pretty boring if you have a computer available, and if you don't, then you're probably busy. All in all, I found it useless, so I sold it for a small profit, and got a slider phone. Turns out actual buttons are way quicker than touch screens. I will say, however, that I would very much consider a smart phone with buttons -- Blackberry, maybe? Data rates are still ridiculous though, and I probably still wouldn't use it for anything but calls.

Hehehe, I'd be able to do it until I try to look up the bus schedule and I'm like "shit shit shit shit shit.........." and I end up missing the bus. >.<

Would you switch back to Black and White TVs with a Knob to change channels? |
