No matter how I try to improve myself, no matter how many times I succeed or fail at the things I do, I need only look around myself in order to feel useless. I have almost no faith in myself when it comes to doing things for people other than myself. It doesn't take much for you to realize what an insignificant speck you are in the face of all that is. Or, rather, I'd think it would be problematic if a person seriously contemplates his or her self-worth and still somehow manages to be condescendingly arrogant.
You could have all the faith in the world and be confident to the point of arrogance and, still, you wouldn't be able to change much about the world, whether you are aided by others or not. There's always that small possibility, but nothing is certain. And even if you DO change something, it will likely be something small in comparison to all that is. Eventually that, too, will be erased by the passage of time.

I remember burning ants with a lighter with my brother.
They were trapped in a glass bowl and.....ughhh u dont wanna hear this; after they were lit up we would use a twig to.....cut them in half and i dunno, we just liked seeing all the black stuff
OF COURSE: that was my childhood and im a changed person to this date
i do not enjoy inflicting pain against small helpless insects......anymore

Yeah I remember doing this but with a magnifying glass and the sun. I also use to find ants and other insects and throw them on spider webs while watching; mind you don't read anything dark into it, this was when I was like a curious 7-10 year old.
