Why do you even think people started to use it, it's because he's so bad that they had to do it, and somehow those who have not seen his movies, ended up believing in that he's a great character of some old movie (and expendables 2 -.-)

I actually find the Chuck Norris "facts/jokes" as stupid as the "you just lost the GAME" nonsense. But the fact that they are mere jokes makes them pretty harmless, it's just a little tiring when people use it all the time. Not that they do anymore, both the Chuck and the GAME things are both dying slowly. At least around these parts they do.

He was still considered a somewhat legendary figure before then though. He held the Middleweight Karate Championship belt for 6 years straight in his early days and the triple crown for most tournament wins. He went hand to hand with Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon. He started his own martial arts school, and is the only recognized westerner to reach 8th degree blackbelt tea kwon do grand master. Then theres all the movies hes been in, mainly reminiscient of rambo type films, before a lot of you guys here were born. So he was kicking ass and taking names long before anyone else still seen on film today, and yes his brief cameos in expendables 2 are just a nod to him by Stallone who has been around only a little less time then him.
