The upcoming movie The Eye starring Jessica Alba is almost on it's way to hit theater. I was just curious if anyone was really anticipating it, b/c i know that there are numerous versions already made. For example, I've seen the Chinese (Cantonese) version a while back & though am excited to see this new movie, I'm also thinking it can't live up to the original. But everyone is intitled to their own opinion, so please tell me what you think.
p.s. I'm sure you can watch The Eye here on CR too. =]

I couldn`t watch it . I didn`t want to watch this alone . I might hide behind some random person .

Americans like to make remakes of asian movies these days.
The Ring-->from the Japanese movie
The Eye-->from the HK movie
My Sassy Girl-->from the Korean comedy film. (upcoming..won't be out till maybe next year? ...I'm sorry if I offend anyone but...I don't see how the Americans can pull out the cute act. They say "You wanna die?!" a lot in the korean movie, but in a cute way....it'll be so weird to hear Americans saying that cause...it's just something no American would say unless they really mean it, you know?)
Hmm...I'm not sure if I'm missing other remakes here...

Lol agreed on the My Sassy Girl part its hard to mix culture humor.
I don't find remakes of different culture movies because things just don't transfer well.
