Americans like to make remakes of asian movies these days.

The Ring-->from the Japanese movie
The Eye-->from the HK movie
My Sassy Girl-->from the Korean comedy film. (upcoming..won't be out till maybe next year? ...I'm sorry if I offend anyone but...I don't see how the Americans can pull out the cute act. They say "You wanna die?!" a lot in the korean movie, but in a cute way....it'll be so weird to hear Americans saying that cause...it's just something no American would say unless they really mean it, you know?)

Hmm...I'm not sure if I'm missing other remakes here...

Don't forget The Grudge, One Missed Call, Shutter...

Darkwater, Pulse, The Lakehouse, and Tale of Two Sisters too..

I really wish they could STOP biting our movies.. It's annoying &pissing me off. They should AT LEAST put something like.. "A remake of the Korean film.. " Or.. whatever.. you get what I'm saying? They need to give us credit for it b'cos we came up with the idea &not them!

Damn us americans...no creativity these days. The movie "No reservations" is just a remake of the German movie "Mostly Martha", not to mention all these bad asian remakes

I know what you mean!! I feel pissed off when the Americans keep on referring it as (for example) the "HK" version of it , instead of saying it the original version Cause then it makes it look like the original makers were the ones who were copying them and not the other way around. Oh yea, I totally forgot about the Grudge, 1 Missed Call & the Lakehouse movie. For the other ones...I didn't even know they were made by japan, hk, korea, etc. first

IT'S HORRIBLE. I watched it last year because it came out sooner in my country. UGH! Don't waste your money on it.

You see?! You didn't know that they were remakes b'cos they never SAID they were remakes. Urgh, I HATE Biters.. Asians aren't BELOW White people, just to let everyone know. We've made all of your technology & NOW you're biting our movies.. HELL NO! *snaps & shakes head from side to side* [x

lol @ the last part xD It's okay if they do remakes and stuff...but it'll be nice if they give a little credit in the beginning or at the end =/ I feel that all races are equal~ No one's cooler than the other ^_^

I saw the Chinese version of The Eye and liked it quite a lot....and I seriously doubt the American version will stand up to the original. We Americans always go for the gore factor and not the scare factor, and the scare factor is what makes The Eye good...it scares you without grossing you out.

Boo. Another Hollywood version of something that came from Asia. >__<
Dun agree. Bleh, why watch it 'AGAIN'??? I mean, I've already watched it in the Chinese and Japanese version.
