After the credits it shows that they have recorded a tape to tell the next generation of kids (of that class) how to get rid of the curse. So if they make a second season, we're pretty much seeing the same thing. And we would already know what's going on too.

Story is no where near done. The first 2 seasons cover the first 8 novels, the ova's cover up some more. The rest of the visual material is original. Beezlebub - they just ended the anime cuz they could. Manga is still on going Panty & Stocking - I hear rumours of a second season but I don't believe it till I see it. K-ON! - Manga got rebooted Full Metal Panic - I have read translations of all the light novels and if the rest were animated, I think it would be one of the greatest series in the history of anime.

This is one of my favorite anime series of all time and it had one of the saddest endings I've seen in anime! I'm actually surprised the ending does make more 'Top 10 Saddest Anime Moments' lists! 2. SORANOWOTO This anime is awesome and I think the comparing it to 'K-ON!' is short sighted.

There's certainly plenty of light novel material from which to work. I'd also like more Squid Girl, although I didn't think there was much of an overarching story to "resolve." For me, weekly shenanigans was good enough! Same with Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, which is actually getting a second season (which hopefully CR can get). Meanwhile, I'll be pretty happy if Media Blasters finally succeeds in releasing the second season Squid Girl DVDs in the U.S. Another could get a second season if they want to make one; somehow putting an end to the curse once and for all could make for a good story. I also hope Sket Dance gets continued at some point.
