8.binbougami ga!
9.gin-tama
10.code geass

I like how Code Geass is on a list for "feel good anime". Since I have been plotting world domination for about twenty-five years, I felt pretty good while watching Lelouch. But I have been told that I am a rare breed. Are you my rival?

Feel good anime with character development? Hm... I can give you one, but not both. I'm terrible with this. Squid Girl, Nichijou, YuruYuri, Full Metal Panic, School Rumble, K-on!. All feel-good anime.
Character development: Clannad, The World God Only Knows(some development), Black Lagoon(it wants to, but doesn't quite do it), Vandread. There are some others.

The best feeling I have ever gotten out of an anime was Eureka 7, but I don't think I would put it in the "feel good" anime category.

Feel good anime... Let's see now. There's Naruto with his silly antics, especially between the kid and Jiraya. Lucky Star, which is an otaku's wet dream isn't bad for relaxing, and my little sister thinks it's hilarious. I doubt Samurai Champloo counts as a wholly feel good show, but it really does make viewers feel good.

I'm glad at least someone mentioned Usagi Drop, that's about as feel good as you can get.

Natsume Yuujinchou wins when it comes to "feel good" anime. Also get good "feels" from Mushishi , Haibane Renmei, Tsuritama , Isekai Seikishi Monogatari , Gintama , Kanon , D grayman (the OST is complete bliss) and thats to name a few ...

Some listings here I would not consider "feel good" animes.

I made my list for laughs because most of them are dark and depressing. If I had to recommend an actual feel good anime it would have to be Bunny Drop.

Try Hanasaku Iroha here on CR, though most of the character development is reseved for Ohana.

Ah, I gotcha. Thanks for clarifying. I was definitely befuddled at some of the responses lol.

Usagi Drop - Very sweet show about family values essentially. It's a short series with 11 episodes.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Compl
ex - Action science-fiction series that is damn well written. Has a strong female protagonist. One of my all time favorites. Long series though, 50 episodes.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monste
r) - Hilarious shoujo series about awkward teen romance. It's also short with 12 or 13 episodes

Say I Love Y
ou - This is a cute, sweet and sometimes sentimental series also about awkward teen romance. Feels more realistic to me than other anime teen shows. Also another one of my all time favorites. But seriously, it kills me with how effing cute it is.

Ouran High School Host Cl
ub - HILARIOUS. The comedy is great, the drama is limited but still interesting. Has about 26 episodes.

Inu x Boku
SS - Supernatural shoujo type. Also short with decent plot and moments of hilarity. There are two perverted characters who adds echi without going extremely overboard. Also short series, about 12 or 13 episodes.

La Storia della Arcana Famigl
ia - Supernatural series, also a reverse harem. Not very echi. It can be funny and sweet. Has a plot that will keep you interested but not obssessively glued to it until it's finale. It's a great short series.

Tari Ta
ri - This is seriously one of the best animes I have ever seen. It's wonderfully written and the music is great also. The plot does get emotionally rivetting at times, but the conclusion is actually quite satisfying. It's 13 episodes long and should not be missed by any fans of anime.

Hope this helped. Sorry I ranted haha

Lets see... I don't watch a lot of feel good animes but I'll give you what I got.

Kimi to Boku (You & Me is the name on CR)
Tsuritama
Natsume Yujincho
Fruits Basket
Host Club

Crap.. that's all I've got!
Btw.. how the hell is D.gray-man or Code Geass feel good animes!?!
Might as well throw in Death Note if you think those animes are feel good!
