Just finished watching Toradora

I feel so empty right now. Nothing worse than finishing an anime that almost changes your daily perspective...
Damn I don't know what I'm going to do. ~.~ EDIT: The reason why this affected my daily perspective is just because it made me so happy to watch. Not the story or any underlying themes. Just the happiness that came along with watching a great anime. |

If you don't like the answers, you should avoid asking the questions.

It's a great series. Just make sure you watch past the end credits in the last episode.

Really good series. Life-changing though? I've never heard that before. What part of your perspective changed? If I remember correctly it was more or less just a romantic comendy. I don't remember any deep perspectives or novel ideas from it. And you feel empty? I remember a pretty happy ending. Maybe I just need a refresher on the plot though, it's been a while since I've seen it.
Although, I do know what you mean when you say those words, I just don't really see Toradora! as a life-changing masterpiece that leaves you empty afterwards. Though like I said, it's a good series. |

This quote came from someone with "Mr. Despair" as his avatar. That being said, I don't think it's even remotely possible for Toradora! to leave you with an empty feeling. I loved Toradora, and I wished it wouldn't have ended as well, but unfortunately everything good must end (as well as everything bad, right, Zetsubou-Sensei? ) |

I know what you mean, I had a similar thing with Clannad. Whenever I watch something I know is going to be deep, I prepare an after anime, like Lucky Star or Hayate no Gotoku.
I think quite a few slice-of-life anime can have a surprising effect depending on how well they're done and how you view it. |

I just watched Toradora! last week and... God, I know that feel. I'm trying The World God Only Knows, and it's hilarious, but not much like Toradora! at all. I'm going t watch Clannad next since everyone seems to recommend it. Also, Wildar has it right, prepare something afterwards that's more an easy watch.

Toradora was a great show, and I thought it had a happy ending. If you didnt watch after the credits of the last show, then I can see why some of you would feel that way.

I just mean in terms of how happy it made me. I have really bad anxiety issues and so when I watch things like this it affects me more than other anime do. Romance kills me at the end every time regardless of whether or not it had a happy ending. How unfortunate, I know. Haha.
